Meet Your Guide, Nico
I have lived in Africa my whole life, mainly in Johannesburg, South Africa before moving to the UK to study business management at the UEA in Norwich.
Born to a Guyanese mother and a French father I am very fortunate to have visited the 4 corners of the world, I have recently returned to London after a 6 month stint studying in Moscow, Russia.
I am fluent in French and English and am nearly fluent in Russian.
My primary field of study has been in the business sector during this period I became very interested in street art and have been fortunate enough to experience some truly amazing artworks in the many cities I have visited across the globe.
This has led me to engage and study the many different artists, movements and the techniques used, especially their significance and messages contained therein.
I think it’s incredible to have these works of art decorating our streets on this ever-changing canvas. There are a plethora of styles from these masters of the streets who freely contribute their talents for all to see.
To be able to feel, touch and interact with them as part of our daily lives: they most certainly add that certain something to help make your day!
Having a passion for photography, I see a wonderful opportunity to immortalise this art form that I feel so strongly is under appreciated, perhaps one day I will be fortunate enough to publish a pictorial catalogue of my own street art images.
